Problems with Overseas Card Payment for Facebook Portal

Anyone encounter problem purchasing Facebook portal ?

I tried a credit card and got the error below,
GraphQL server responded with error 1675002: The query provided was invalid.

Tried a debit card instead, but error - Card Declined. Please contact your bank.

Both cards are working and used for daily purchase.
Is there some sort security on overseas payment that I need to activate ?

If you can post your credit card number, expiry and the digits on the back, I can check it out for you! I'm sure its a easy fix!

    • Clearly we have a few people here who can't see the joke! You all must be fun at parties!

A joke isn't funny when it is repeated a thousand times with absolutely no original twist or anything witty added whatsoever. This is the equivalent of asking "why did the chicken cross the road", with the punchline, "to get to the other side" and expecting your audience to laugh.

Bit like your low value comments I see all over the place on topics you have no idea about? But yet here we are……

Have you tried contracting your bank? See if there is anything in your banks app, mine has a toggle for blocking overseas purchases.

Question though - are these cards from a bank overseas or are you trying to make a purchase overseas (being facebook portal presumably in US$)?

    • mod edited my title regarding the overseas

i'm using cards issued by local banks and the facebook price showing AUD

contacted my bank that said they can see multiple verifications from facebook and they were all accepted so there should not be problem for payment to go through

they asked me to contact facebook instead, which i did by email and pending response (but i assume i'll missed the mother's day promo price)

  • Ew, who wants a Facebook camera in their house?

Facebook already steals enough of your personal information and tracks you without letting them see inside your house.
