then how much please….. we need to know the end price not the discounted amount…. could be only $1 off from $100000 item so it is not really attractive

Thanks for your feedback, I've updated the title to reflect your comment! Really appreciated!

    "Heattech jersey range! "
which one is that jersey range ? on your link i dont see any model name contains jersery ?

    • All of the ones that are currently on special offer we would consider our "Jersey" range, it's the base level of heattech. If this is too unclear for customers perhaps I'll change the title, thanks for your feedback! I've also updated the title!

      • -3

        jersey /ˈdʒəːzi/
noun 1. a knitted garment with long sleeves, worn over the upper body.

and you have singlet, legging and longjohn there.. for sure, very unclear should tell head office about that

How about improving the returns policy? If I live in Sydney and buy something from the Emporium store in Melbourne for my kid, then want to return it as it didn't fit, I have to go back to the Emporium store to return rather than return it at a Sydney store …

    • Umm that's quite bizarre. Apart from the fact that Uniqlo targets low price clothing, their return policies are not bad (in other countries.)
It is common that they request receipts (and tags?), but I never hear they request returning items to the shop you made purchase.

      • +3

They changed their return policy recently. All returns need to be made to the shop you made the purchase. I assume this is because each store stock different range of products (bigger stores have more range).

        • +6

Unfortunately as of December 2020 our global headquarters changed the return policy for every country to match this. I would like to actively encourage complaints as it definitely helps us push the issue to upper management better, so thank you all for bringing up this discussion!

    • +11

Thanks for your reply! This is an issue which even we as employees are very vocal about and constantly bring up to our management as well, due to the structure of the company our global guidelines made this change independent of our respective views. We're still constantly pushing our global head quarters and attempting to rollback these changes to our return policy.

I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused for you, and I would actually encourage you to take your item in this scenario to a store in Sydney and make an active complaint, more often than not supervisors and managers would oblige, and the more vocal you are about this issue it will also help bring it back up to our management.

      • +4

Thanks and I will say it is definitely something need to change.
It's true that I tend to not think when making purchase at Uniqlo because of the price.
However, the updated return policy almost tells me not buying anything apart from the shop close to my house.

        • Thanks for being patient with us! I'll try my best to keep pursuing a better returns policy for our customers, thanks again for being vocal about this issue. :)

      • If the customer need to be vocal about it then the customer is most likely an unhappy one.
The question is how many unhappy or pissed off customers are you willing to lose? Those that are unhappy about this issue and are not vocal will probably not shop at your stores again.

    Hi OP/ratink,

Thanks for the heads up, I'll go in store after work and buy.

Also appreciate you replying to those constructive criticism/complaints in the comments above.

At everyone: This "Heattech" range actually keeps me pretty pretty warm.

I've owned the "MEN HEATTECH Crew Neck T-Shirt (Long Sleeve)" for over half a year, and the material is still good.

I highly recommend this range, especially for the affordable price and quality (I'm comparing the quality/life-span of the material versus Zara and H&M).

      Hi F1ngolf,

I've updated the title to reflect your suggestion, and I have to admit I was at a loss as to what the best title was because there's quite a few different price points for this particular range of products, and I originally ended up with something much more confusing than what you see now, but managed to make it a lot better thanks to the first user's suggestion.

Now with your suggestion I think I finally understand the best way to make an ozbargain post.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. I really appreciate it! :)

No worries! mate. Took me a couple of amendments to get my initial posting right too.

I'm a Uniqlo and Heattech customer. Plan to drop by store to pick up some later today. Have a wonderful day!

Does the sale end at 23:59 on the 19th? Been looking at picking up some Heattech items since they've served me well in the past but won't be able to purchase until Wednesday evening.

    • +1

      Hi kicha,

To answer your question, yup! All of our special start on Thursdays at 00:00AM ending at 23:59PM on Wednesday of the following week!

      • +1

Cheers! Also long shot, but by any chance do you know if your extra fine merino sweaters or items like this https://www.uniqlo.com/au/en/products/E428311-000?colorCode=… will be on sale in the coming weeks?

        • +1

Unfortunately we don't have any plans to put this item towards a special offer promotion as of yet, but most likely sometime during next month we'll have our premium lambswool or merino on special offer so keep an eye out!

This month our focus is currently on our down and heattech range.

          • +1

@ratink: Thanks for all the help :)

            • @kicha: Thanks for taking the time to comment! I'm glad that I could assist!

How do these compare to 100% merino wool thermals?

    • +6

      Hi ufwpd,

So, the Extra Fine Merino sweaters are more outerwear items rather than what we at UNIQLO would call thermals. These particular range of products are meant for wearing underneath regular clothing, or if you're at home you can just lounge around in them as well. But comparably speaking if you were wearing an Extra Fine Merino sweater, that would be the equivalent of wearing our Extra Warm Heattech range of Heattech which is 1.5x warmer than the current regular Heattech that we currently have on special offer.

How I would make the distinction between the two is that the regular Heattech is great for wearing to colder indoor places like offices with lack of heating, lounging at home or going out for a quick grocery run. Whereas Extra Warm Heattech would be more ideal for outdoor physical activities, like going out for a jog, walking the dog etc.

The advantages of heattech over merino woolen sweaters is that it's extremely light and is a very very thin innerwear layer so you can dress fairly lightly and still be snug and warm, although you wouldn't have as much wind protection as the merino sweaters.

Thanks ratink! 10/10 explanation. Come back again soon.

        • Thanks for your comment and glad that I could help! :)

          • +1

@ratink: The one that is on special offers are regular heattech ?

            • +1

@Indomietable: That's correct! Currently this week we have our Regular Heattech on special offer, until next Wednesday the 19th at 23:59PM

Just to compare the 3 different levels

Regular Heattech: Great for indoor use, at home, the office, runs to the shops.
Extra Warm Heattech: 1.5 x warmer than our Regular Heattech. Ideal physical outdoor activities, exercising outdoors or sports etc.
Ultra Warm Heattech: 2.5x warmer than our Regular Heattech. Best for colder winter climates, anything below 6°C I would recommend this, for skiing or extreme winter climates this is also your best choice.

  • hi ratink,
    please restock "windproof-stretch-slim-fit-chino-pants" SKU 408499
It is excellent office pants during winter. I regret buying only one last time.

    • Hi Lakon,

Unfortunately these pants aren't in production this season and currently I'm not sure if our merchandising team has plans to bring it back next season, however I can recommend you some of these awesome trousers for the office! They have heattech stitched in with the fabric and they're also super stylish!

And in case you weren't aware you can take most pants (some exceptions) in to stores and get them altered! For all regular stitched pants (with visible hemline at the pant cuffs) $29.90 and over it's completely free! For the formal pants with blind stitching (the stitching at the pant cuffs are basically invisible) it's a $6.00 alteration fee!

      Hi Rictee,

      Thanks for your comment!

So to answer your question, for these two items with the codes 429021 HT Long Johns and 429014 HT Crew Neck T are more recently produced and we call them our new season items. They're updated with more inconspicuous stitching to make it seem less like innerwear, silhouette has been updated with a wider neckline and cuffs as well for the top!

We normally have in our product description drop down menu the newer features of the newer season products as well.

      • +1

Thanks! Will buy the newer ones of course.

More like "so we can track you". IMO the dollars saved is not worth the invasion of privacy.

    • Pretty sure stores can already track you with your payment details / shipping & phone (if buying online as a guest).

  • Been meaning to buy a couple of camisoles and turtlenecks since my friend rec'd them to me after she got it on sale at the same discounted price on this deal, but I kept forgetting to watch for the sale.

Bought 2x each for myself and 2x of the turtleneck for my friend :)
    Thanks
