    The effect of border closure

    • The closure is for people, not goods. If there was actual demand, it wouldn't be hard to find people to mail these to China.

      • The usual daigou are stuck at mainland

        • And if there is demand, there will be others filling in. It's literally going to the shops, pack it in box and mail it.

  • They are very specific with brands and this one doesn't make the cut.

    • In fact, the Chinese liked this brand so much, the bought the the company that makes it..

      • +1

And thats why Chinese stopped buying it.

      • +1

They are still made in Australia from 67% Australian ingredients. No other manufacture I know goes that close for an organic milk. Yes a Chinese company own them but as long as it's made in Australia. The products should still meet Australian standards.

        • Profits go towards the gov of middle country.

  • +1

it's now owned by a Chinese company called Mengniu Dairy who were involved with powdered milk containing melamine.

You shouldn’t feed a baby of age 12+ months formula unless there’s a specific need. Consult your paediatrician if unsure.

As usual, check expiry dates before buying. Good bargain for the few who genuinely need it.

    • +1

Sure there’s no need, but there is also the convenience of not refrigerating milk when travelling or at night.

    • +1

There nothing wrong with feeding them this as long as you understand they need to reduce their dairy intake (whether from formula or otherwise), and move to a more varied diet.

They don't need formula anymore, that doesn't mean you need to not feed it to them.

  • wow! what a price, can we adults drink this instead of milk?
