Any one have any experience with the inspiron range? I used the latitude series and had good experience.
Main use would be watch 4k videos, crunching large excel spreadsheets, email, web browsing.
Can anyone tell me if the ram is expandable?
This one has the added graphics card. Figure the ram can always be upgraded later on if I need to. Thx for the info
The MX450 will do better for video/photo editing etc and gaming on new titles, but if it’s purely for watching videos or playing something that’s well optimised like LOL or CSGO I wouldn’t bother. Then again, if you’re only watching videos / doing as above etc 8GB RAM also fine.
Think RAM is half soldered AFAIK. As in you could replace one 4GB stick with an 8GB stick or so. At least that was on previous inspirons.
Components are good but XPS is where the build quality is better. Inspiron tend to feel underwhelming. I have had both and now have an XPS 2 in 1.
