Kevlar? For when you get shot at? Hmm..

Good to have it when you come off the motorcycle.

It's actually kevlar lining inside the jeans. Can spot it by the extra stitching across the thighs and under the knees. Buys you extra seconds when sliding on the ground.

I took out 3 cars and a double B wearing a pair of these while riding my scooter . They washed right off .

You lost me at scooter :p

you obviously don't know what you are talking about

  • will this protect from knife attacks too?

    • +8

Yes, and will protect you from taking an arrow to your knee.

Not sure why everybody suddenly got so stupid all of a sudden. Maybe it's because it's Australia Day and the entire country is drunk by lunchtime. Or more drunk by lunchtime (FNQ, I'm looking at you guys…)

They're motorcycle jeans. They're supposed to stop you riping all your skin off when you fall off your bike. They work, but not as well as leathers:

Personally, i only trust the genuine Draggin Jeans.
But for a cheap "known brand" i would probably go the Joe Rocket ones for $99

  • I'm gonna skip on these, as I just bought a pair of riding jeans.

Though, can someone recommend a good website to purchase a good helmet at a cheaper price?

These guys are pretty good https://www.thehelmetwarehouse.com.au/store.php

For something a bit different, try http://www.takamii.com.au/ awesome carbon fibre helmets

      • Thanks, those carbon fibre helmets look… interesting.

        • Aldis helmets?

      • be careful with buying online, make sure they are legal in Aust.
and try and look at the real thing, there can be quite a difference between screen and item (when i saw a helmet i was gonna buy, it was very different(

Takamii is a well respected member of motorbike forums and he has quite a few happy customers using his helmets. I personally have his MotoLegion jeans and for the price they were good value. I plan on giving his helmets a go when mine is up for rpelacement…

Sorry, but where is the bargain here?

Looks like advertising to me - What was the price before it was $89 ? Oh, that's right - it was $89.

  • This looks to me to be the usual price , other brands appear to be similar price, Not A Bargain AT ALL.

  • Doesn't seem to be a special price, but in anycase I wouldn't be buying any kevlar jeans online if there is an inside out shot showing the kevlar placement and also no mention if its triple stitched…
