  • I like how Amazon puts these on for free once in a while as if they're a bargain. These are all free books elsewhere as copyrights on them have long elapsed.

I still downloaded them like they're amazing bargains…

It is more about the formatting - PG often has terrible formatting unfortunately.
Plus, while I totally get you, as these books are normally charged for (due to extra work put into this) getting them free is indeed a bargain.
And of course, having all your books in one place, including those still in copyright, is convenient for most people.

      • Ye I know OP. That's why I downloaded the books. Thanks for posting them OP :)

      Here you go.

  • If you're going to read just one Dickens then David Copperfield is the one.

    • Uhhh, that is a bit controversial with Oliver Twist and Great Expectations also being around.

      • There's a Dickens novel for many tastes Lysander. Both of those were relatively underwhelming for mine. DC is essentially Dickens' autobiography so you not only get to see the great injustices and inequalities of the time but also an insight into his own life and tribulations, which undoubtedly contributed to the narratives he wrote and how he wrote them.
