How to connect WIFI-Tuya Smart APP?

*Search " Tuya Smart " in Google Play Store for Android/Apple Store for iOS, then install it.
*Click " Add Device ", then choose " Lighting ” and " Strip “.
*Make sure your WiFi is 2.4GHz, then enter WiFi password and confirm.
*The most important step is to perform the following operations on your power switch: ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON. Until you see the light blinks rapidly.
*Please confirm the frequency of flashing of your lights: 0.5 seconds each time, or 2 seconds each time.

  Love the lights! But please start adding atleast 4 of the ‘L shaped connectors’ to your packs instead of just one! It makes choosing where to set up (like behind a tv) much easier, and stops me having to search online for compatible connectors! Thanks (:

      Hey Jackey , thanks for the quick response!

      Cheers for the link I have checked them out, still only seem to have one L shaped connectors in those too. I know you can make do without but it makes it harder to keep the lights neat and flat when you need to twist them!

      I think if you can find a way to add more to the pack, or offer to sell a separate add on package with L shaped connectors separately, it would also really distinguish your company from the competition! And I would buy a heap more because honestly they have been great!

    The strip lights just connect the power supply, then you could use.
    There are batteries in the remote control.

    Yes it can. On the remote, the top right corner button that is marked with 'W' for white. Will set the strip to display only W. I think i saw ability to dim/brighten/cycle on top of the colour too.

  Hi Jackey,

  Just got my order from amazon, works great with the remote, but i am finding it hard to put it into the right mode to sync to Tuya app. Instructions are to do ON OFF ON in leaflet, in app it's ON OFF ON OFF on the app. Regardless, i have tried like…50+ times of each but it refuse to go into that mode to be synced to the app.

  Advice?

    Connection speed is related to WiFi signal strength, only support 2.4GHz WiFi.Pls know!

    If you haven't already, try going to AP mode in the tuya app rather than EZ mode (top right in the device add screen). I've got dozens of tuya smart home stuff and about 85% of it I could only get working using the AP Mode and connecting to the devices WiFi network to finish setup.

    People tend to rapidly toggle the power switch, but you get the best results from giving a 2-3 sec pause when you toggle it on. The lights will come on, and then will go into the flashing pairing mode after a second or so.

  Hi OP. I purchased the TV 3m lighting. Got it delivered today. Are there supposed to be any connectors and L shaped connectors with it? I have none with the box provided and I'm battling trying to figure out how to properly continue sticking the lights when near the corner of the tv, the lighting strips dont allow for a manual bend of any sort as it would naturally break the link so trying to understand how i complete installation with the provided product for a TV? Cheers
