JB $34
EB $34.95
The Gamesmen $34.95
Amazon $34.95
Nintendo AU $34.95

RRP is again $34.95 which is quite high, also having to scan an amiibo (even if you aren't paying for it) to use the improved fast travel isn't ideal, looks nice though.

I feel like Amiibo prices keep going up…

    • The previous increase from $17.95 to $21.95 wasn't too bad, but now going from $21.95 to $34.95 is a bit of a punch to the coinsack. :/

I was hoping the high price would only be for the Monster Hunter Amiibo but now we've got this one for the same price.

      • They both cost $5 more than what the Guardian Amiibo from a few years back launched at, which had moveable arms, and was considerably bigger. The Skyward Sword one just looks like your run-of-the-mill Amiibo.

It looks a bit bigger than a standard amiibo figure. $35 is a bit much though

Looks good, but wow, locking fast travel behind a $35 dlc is a scummy move.

    • There's a lot of heat online over this. It's disgraceful. The whole point of a remaster is to improve quality of life while playing older games. Why remaster something if you're going to lock the new improvements behind an extra micro-transcation?

I strongly encourage everyone not to buy it. No use supporting bullshit like this. What's next, you're going to need an Amibo just to do a double jump in Super Mario?

  • Looks great but $35 is pretty steep. Do these generally go on sale or sell out at RRP?

Since this is being released everywhere there's a chance, but only if it constantly remains in stock for a a month or two, I think there'll be a lot of stock but Zelda amiibo normally stay close to RRP.

  • Does anyone know where you can purchase this currently?

Are there strategies to be made aware when it becomes available on Amazon etc.

Best strategy is to leave it alone and acknowledge the days of these are over . Nintendo overproduction is the go nowadays for the never ending following sheep .
