We have the conventional / old-style timer around the place… to turn on lights, radio etc.
Very simple, doesnt have to depend on Wifi.
They are getting tired slowly and showing sign of giving-away.
Just been googling and trying to find some decent one but with not much luck.

Yes that's where I searched. Plenty of the old/dial type, and the one from Arlec has bad review (taking 2 spots)

I have the Arlec one. It's tight but I can still use the outlet beside it.

We just replaced all of our timers with Philips Hue smart plugs, since we found the traditional "wind up" ones way too noisy, and the digital ones were unreliable. They're obviously more expensive than traditional timers, but we've found them to be so much more convenient being able to operate things from our phones. The only downside was having to replace some of our double power points with wide ones, since the smart plugs are so big!
