OLED 75” TV under $2,500

Looking for recommendations for an OLED TV 75” for around $2,000. Might be a bit of an ask, I know. Up to around $2,500 could be fine as all look for sales.

Looking for an OLED as I want this solely for movies and series and want a TV that can do nice crisp blacks.

I know there could be a number of TV’s that fit this, but looking for recommendations for good quality ones with nice colours/blacks as mentioned.

Thanks!

75" OLED for $2,500? Not till 2023-2024. Be lucky to get 55" CX for that.

    • Maybe he can get lucky with a 65" model, but it would be an older version on clearance.

OLEDs are expensive to produce, hence, they're still expensive to buy. We're only just getting miniLED TVs, and these are a bit better than the "Q-LED" TVs we've got now, but not quiet OLED-quality. So if I was the OP, I would probably look for that. Whereas, microLED is basically Synthetic-OLED, and that technology has been promised forever but is still a long ways away. Until that hits the mainstream, OLEDs will continue to be expensive.

Are you sure you’re not mixing OLED with QLED?

I’d had a quick search and couldn’t find anything which is why I asked here.

If this thread was 'what's the best bang-for-buck TV for $2000' or 'find me a deal on a 77" OLED' then we can help you, but it's quite obvious you didn't do your homework. A quick search on JB's website should give some idea. The fact this is currently a frontpage deal would also suggest your request is incredibly unrealistic.

I'm waiting for an OLED 85” TV under $1,000. Any recommendations? Only interested in good quality ones

I won't contribute with sarcastic posts like the others. Seems you're new to the TV tech.

OLED is amazing in the dark, but bloody expensive (especially atm, think like used cars).

You won't find the size you're looking for at the price. It might be closer to 8-10k for that.

My suggestion is to look into a Samsung QLED that offers similar picture quality (not the same) for a much cheaper price. Even then, for 75", it will not be under 2500.

    Hope this answered your question.

    • Thank you, I really appreciate it. That makes sense. Guess I might have to go for a standard LED TV for now. Cheers.

  • So it’s true, people still seeking for a philosopher's stone…

    Nope. Not a single one.

  • You wont find an OLED that big for that price.
The 75 inch Sony X9000h is a runout model at the moment and was well regarded for its Contrast , it Blacks and Sony are well regarded for their colour
A new model is on its way X90J , but the 75 inch will be close to $4K on release I believe , the x9000h is worth a look

I think if you work hard (checking online stores and here) you might land a 65” OLED for close to $2500 by LG or Hisense most likely.

If you physically went to good guys, bing lee, Harvey normal, jb hi fi etc and ask about floor stock you might be in with a show. (for 65” unlikely 75”).

But in your price range ULED at 75” is probably your best bet (but your blacks might not be good enough for you); again physically goto a store and compare. (Although the bright lights won’t help you much).
