that's for the base edition, this is the ultimate which includes the original spiderman

      • Oh right. Original was great but you could get that for cheap nowadays. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for Miles though - exceptionally short game

        • Yeh that's what I've heard as well, haven't played either but will probably wait for this to go down further. The original that's included here is a remastered version, I'm not sure if they're offering that upgrade for owners of the ps4 version so this might be worth it for some people who haven'y played it

I paid $110 on launch for ultimate, and thoroughly enjoyed MM and think it is in the very least a $80 experience. Unlike regular Spiderman which fell into the trap so many games seem to, in just being too damn long, it was a nice, concise, contained story which i really liked. I'd rather a great 8 hours of gameplay for my $100 or so than a stretched out feeling 15-30. And if it is over about 25 hours, I likely won't even bother.

Also, it is the remastered original, not the regular, which I believe costs extra to upgrade from the PS4 version?

          • @witheredcouch: Each to their own I guess.

Even though the original Spiderman was long, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Being only an 8hour game, MM seems more like a DLC to me than a complete game - which is why I wouldn't want to pay more than $40 for it.

          • @witheredcouch: Yeah, same for me…I might even be prepared to pay more for a shorter game like Miles Morales without all the needless filler so many games seem to have these days.

  • I bought the ultimate edition late last year for about 89 and finished both games. And sold MM right after.

Overall story and gameplay - I like the original game better than miles morales. I don't think MM is worth more than $20 IMO

    • I agree, it's way too short and I can't believe they sold it at full price before

      • because marvel suckers and sony fanboys will still purchase cause its spider-man

Strange how they don't sell Spiderman Remastered by itself?

    • You might find somebody selling the remastered code. I sold mine because I already played the base game and wasn't interested in playing it again.

      • On which platform did you sell the code?

        • On Ozb classifieds.. I had listed it on FB marketplace as well

    • They're actually planning to do it this year. It's gonna be at least $60.
If you're playing it for the first time it's worth it to get the ultimate edition.
      60fps RT.

      • Do you know if there'll be a physical release? I don't really care much for digital

        • I've heard the news. It almost impossible for it to be digital only. If it's not a free update, then surely it would be on disk as well.

  • If anyone is holding out for the digital version, Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate should also be on sale in the Playstation Days of Play 2021 Sale starting tomorrow: https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2021/05/18/ps5-p…

  • I agree with those who say MM was kinda short. I actually just wanted to finish the game and sell it asap. Didn't strike me as being very different to the base game.

I bought the ultimate version for $89 thinking it would get a better resale value for it. I didn't use the remastered code. Sure enough, I sold it for $80

  • Stores might be starting the Days Of Play sale early… Big W have put their catalogue up, comparable pricing.

  • FFS I just bought this last Thursday from Amazon for $98 and still haven't received it because of an "error in sorting" at Auspost -_-

Speak to Amazon customer service and they'll give you tenner back no hassle.

  • Yikes, Days of play digital PSN sale sucks at a measly 13% off ($108.70!)

Guess I might be opting for this instead.

I still can't wrap my head around digital pricing, they need to get their sh*t together.

      • I tried to filter on price on store.sony.com to see if there were any bargains.

The price filter is on the full price, not the reduced price they're actually selling at.

E.g. Far Cry 3 is on sale at $4.99, but you need to be filtered on games in the $40-59 range to get it to return.

Sony are making things far harder than they should be these days.
