Weird that this time it requires PS+, whereas when it launched on Switch, you were able to claim it for free no strings attached (besides the expiry date).
On Xbox it costs 87 cents. I guess different deals for different platforms.
87 cents? That would have bought 4 shots on the original arcade game. Which would have lasted in total about 87 seconds…
well apparently Capcom Arcade Stadium and of course none of the games are available on the USA PS store.. weird!
One of the most difficult arcade games to beat, aside from all 8 rounds of Wonder Boy
No joke. I remember trying to clock it on a Mame emulator years back. Got fairly deep into it but reached a point I just couldn't pass. Gave up after a couple of hours of retries.
This game was crazy hard on the Sega too

I bloody loved this game as a kid, but Jesus H it is hard, especially by today's standards. I was just playing it on PS Vita a couple of days ago and couldn't believe I used to be able to get a decent way through it. Now I can maybe get 2 or 3 screen lengths in and it's all over. Shows how badly my gaming skills have atrophied over the last 30-35 years :( Oh well, I'll give it another go on PS4, and hopefully there will be some good deals later for other Capcom Arcade Stadium games.
They've bundled games together so you have to pay the high entry price.
I only want a few titles from each bundle. :(
Yeah, that's why I'm waiting for a sale. Or maybe they'll release them individually later on?
