20% off Cerave: Hydrating Cleanser 236ml $10.39, Cream To Foam Cleanser 236ml $15.99 + Post ($0 C&C/ $50+) @ Chemist Warehouse

340

Cerave is currently 20% off at Chemist Warehouse, which is as good as it gets for this brand. It's only available at Chemist Warehouse.

If you've never heard of the brand, they make gentle, very reasonably-priced products aimed to strengthen the skin barrier and typically contain ceramides (the same stuff in Elizabeth Arden's very expensive ceramide capsules). The products are developed with dermatologists and suitable for sensitive skin. It's immensely popular amongst skincare enthusiasts on reddit, especially the cleansers.

Can anyone vouch for this ? On Youtube it seems Cerave is the best brand you can find in a general drugstore

    • There are hundreds of reviews on the Chemist warehouse website for the more popular products. I've personally used the hydrating and foaming cleansers the daily moisturising lotion and I would highly recommend them.

I love Cerave. In particular, the hydrating cleanser, moisturising cream and lotion.

    • High recommend! Skin is amazing since I’ve started using it

I only found out about Cerave from OzBargain in prior posts (a few months ago). Honestly - it's one of the best things I've discovered courtesy of this site. I can't get over how life changing the Hydrating Cleanser has been for me. Amazing. I bought the 1L and use it as a body wash. I'm going to try other products in the range soon.

    • Yes its a game changer for me. I never expected much but I used the pm lotion and my skin has improved overall. The superstar niacinamide very high up in the ingredients list is the key I think. Also the clean list of ingredients safe for pregnant women too. Altho do your own research

    • I was going to pull the trigger until a friend mentioned that it's not "fertility approved" ie a clean product. If you're not looking at getting pregnant soon, you don't need to worry.

I've had issues with dermatitis on my eyelids when I get stressed, since changing to the citaphil skin cleanser and then moisturising after with cerave, my skin is 1000 times better and no more skin issues. I highly recommend.

Cerave is the BEST. I just get the 1L versions. Hard to find at times.

  • Is the Hydrating Cleanser used as a body wash in the shower?
I used to use QV Cream and have move to the CeraVe Moisturising Cream / Lotion and wondering if the Hydrating Cleanser would be the equivalent to QV Wash.

    • Yep - I use the Hydrating Cleanser as a body was in the shower. Absolutely love it.

    • You can use all their cleansers on the face as well, they're very gentle and fragrance-free

Vouch for cerave. QV doesn't work for me.

Can vouch 10/10. I wish Cerave was around when I was a teen. I recommend this to everyone and anyone.

I use the hydrating cleanser and moisturising lotion. My skin feels clean but hydrated and soft after the wash. Perfect for the coming winter. Lotion absorbs very well too. Both gentle and fragrance free. Pretty good value for 236ml for $10-11.

1L bottle of hydrating cleanser is equivalent to $5.28/236ml. If you go through a lot of it (like I do) just buy the 1L version.
