We got this one a couple of months back from the deal posted here. So far so good.

  • Yeah the Esatto Heat Pump dryer is pretty awesome. Well worth the money.

  • Buy kmart drying racks (around 20-25 bux), hang clothes on them inside, turn on dehumidify mode with your AC, adjust temperature to whatever is comfortable… just an idea to save $.

  • Go with the Esatto heat pump dryer. Much cheaper to run than vented or condenser dryers. Also, it won't steam up your laundry.

Old style vented dryer might work as heater if you open your internal laundry door, and it is humid enough, so you dont need humidifier in dry winter weather

And it seems to dry cloth faster vs heatpump dryer.

    • Won't that encourage mould? That's the last thing you would want for your baby.

  • I have the Beko heat pump dryer that occasionally pops up on here. Does a good job

  • I got the Aldi Stirling heat pump, which I'm told is basically the Esatto one. $600 bucks, works great!

  • Got the Haier HDHP80A1 for around $900 and am very happy with it. Can't fault it except it's a bit louder than I thought it would be. There is $100 cashback via redemption for it at the moment. Cheapest you will get it would probably be waiting for a Good Guys eBay sale to line up with being on a weekly special and then using the cashback.
