This is now identical to the QLD edition, since so many of them have moved up here.

    The never ending game.
Stay home, don't move past go, STOP!!
    :D
    Stay safe peeps.

  • The Melbourne edition is an addition but I don't think that's what you mean by "Melbourne Addition"

Instead of going to Jail you go to Hotel Quarantine for 14 rolls.

    • -1

But you escape after one roll because you pick up a Community Chest card of “Dan and co (profanity) up again”.

    • +2

      14 toilet rolls?

  • +4

Great way to explore Melbourne during lockdown.

    • +6

does the lockdown version just have goto jail on every square?

imagine being given an unreliable car that wasn't fit for track racing then getting blamed when it breaks down.

Pretty much the hotel qurantine system. Thanks Scomo.

    • So no one blames SA for not paying attention to the well known aerosol spread .
That is the reason behind this one .

    • +1

Funny other states don’t seem to be having anywhere near the amount of issues as Victoria. Is hotel quarantine ideal? No. But is that excuse for Victoria Labor’s continual incompetence? No either.

The last 12 months have shown the incompetence of all sides and levels of government.

      • +5

Wasn't this recent VIC outbreak due to a leak in SA hotel quarantine?

        • +3

Lets not get that little fact get in the way of things, Uncle Rupert hates those little tidbits.

        • +3

It was. The guy was in SA hotel quarantine and tested negative four times. He went about his business after that, and IMO that can’t be faulted.

It’s pathetic people are calling this a failure of the state government or attacking Melburnians when contact tracing has been stellar this time around and seeded out of SA hotel quarantine.

Anything to attack a Labor government in this country, absolutely pathetic.

    • I swear it's a cult.

Every time it's Vic in trouble and all they do is blame scomo and give Dan Andrews and his govt a pass.
Andrews still has good positivity ratings in his state.

Other states have controlled their outbreaks (wa, qld, NSW) incredibly well.
NSW also take bulk of returning citizens.

        What about ruby princess?

That sure got swept away pretty quickly.

      • Its hilarious on the australia subreddit those loonies are all trying to blame scomo for the lockdown. Lefties are the worst.

        • +1

Right wing nut jobs aren’t much better either.

          • @Ghost47: True, right wing nut jobs are probably worse than left wing nut jobs. There seems to be a much higher percentage of left wing nutties though whereas most right wing seem to just want to live quiet lives.

            • -1

@Dowhatuwant: If you look at the 2019 election study results show that the amount of Liberal voters increase in older demographics. Maybe that’s why they want quiet lives.

              • @Ghost47: Well obviously, I was a lefty, then i was center and now i'm slightly to the right but I never changed it's the center that keeps moving to the left.

                • -1

@Dowhatuwant: I wasn’t really talking about you, just trying to consider why “lefties are loud and righties just want peace and quiet.”

  • +6

Yep, 2% of population vaccinated…. how good is scomo!

Lol people arguing politics over a board game post
