    So they're saying the full retail for 750ml Cobram Olive Oil is now $18? Whaaaaat!! We started buying Australian olive oil when it was marginally more expensive that Euro imports. It's now 2 to 3 times the price. Did you hear the one about the goose that laid golden eggs .. :-( .. !! And don't give me the tosh about Australian olive oil being superior to Euro imports. It just isn't!

      Wholesale / bulk price of a good olive oil is $9 to $10 per litre. The $7.50 bottle was a good deal for retail price. The $9 bottle is a bit expensive, still alright. The $18 retail price is just a scam.

      Wasn't just a couple of weeks ago they also had Cobram oil for half price? Before this price increase I remember there used to be like just 3 or 4 times a year when they would have half price special for Cobram oil.

      I think it just went into category of those goods that are frequently on half price sale and no one buys them at the full price, so probably expect these sales to be a very regular occurrence.

    Used to be my go-to olive oil.

    Since January 2021, price has increased from $15 to $18. So half price is now $12/litre, instead of $10/litre.

    Have since switched to the ALDI Australian olive oil, and am pleasantly surprised.
