My Gen1 Mi Robot Vac started behaving strangely lately.
Main problem is that it is now getting stuck on rug edges, pens etc etc - way more often than it ever did. Before, it was something out of the ordinary not to find it at the dock after cleaning. Nowadays its almost every time I have to go search for it.
Do not know if its one of the later firmware updates (don't want to do a hardware reset to find out) or just drive motors are getting tired or something else.
Feels that the wheel mechanism just does not have enough power to go over obstacles. Or, maybe it is now somehow tied with the fan control - if chosen a quiet fan setting, maybe it is sending less power to the wheels too?
Anyone had experience with something like this? I will probably retire it next week, just dont want to get rid of a thing that works great otherwise
May as well reset it to rule out software, if you were going to decommission it anyway…
