I've spent years of hours working seated on Mirras, Aerons, and Leaps. I'm 174cm tall and lean. The Mirra and Aeron (M) feel a little too wide. The arms are not as adjustable as I'd like but are sufficient.

A few years ago I injured my lumbar at the gym. Since then, only the Leap has been able to sustain me for long hours. Though the upholstery doesn't look as flash as the Herman Millers, the comfort is unparalleled.

Over many years, the cushion on the Leap can sink and mold so don't expect the same level of longevity as the mesh used in the Herman Millers.

This is one main reason why I'm holding out for a sale for the Aeron which will probably never come.

Well, you can use the money I saved you on the table top to spend on the Aeron. 😝

        • Ahahaha! Quite the combo isnt it, cheap out as much as I can on a standing desk and spend the rest on a chair that cost almost 2 grand.

By the way, did you end up pulling the trigger? Just letting you know, I placed the order for the table top last night and they shipped it out today. So It will probably take less than 2-3 weeks if you bought the whole set from Amazon.

    • I was reading through the global warranty info and it looks like foam is covered for 12 years which is pretty decent!

Yeah but unfortunately, this would fall under normal wear and tear.

Also I read somewhere that if you don't get their products assembled by an authorised party you lose warranty? Not sure if thats relevant to chair.. or it might've been a reseller requirement so dont quote me on this.

Is there a reason they don't ship to QLD?

  • +2

sigh still only insanely expensive, stranger has to come into your house during covid to assemble a thing a child could manage shipping available :(

  • $187 delivery!

  • What’s the difference between Leap v2 which everyone talks about and the Leap New Black Henry and Leap Medley shown here?

    • They are just names for black and grey versions of the chair, they're still both Leap v2s.

    The code doesn’t work anymore
