    The image says gigabit Ethernet, the description says 10/100. Which is it?

      One comments says it is not gigabit Ethernet. Due to 4K/60Hz support and cost effective chipset, it is not going to be gigabit Ethernet.

      The 4K/60Hz alt mode and the cost of the chipset (not the best one obviously) limits USB ports to 2.0. Basically, all the USB 3 data bandwidth has been taken by that HDMI port, leaving the legacy USB 2.0 data bus (which isn't worth taking for video) being available.

      Not the best option if you have Thunderbolt 3 or USB 4… But if you only have USB 3.1 gen 2 with alt mode support, it's not like the port can actually give you more bandwidth anyway.

    Just take note that this won't have HDCP so forget it for watching Netflix etc in HD on anything you plug into.
