  • Look it up on eBay or Gumtree and see how much it goes for there.

Have you tried updating the mouse pad's drivers to Microsoft Precision drivers? They made my mouse pad on my $500 laptop way better.

i have not.. but thanks for the tip!

pretty much the only thing i dislike about the laptop

edit - just installed it, and its a lot better

    • This is definitely a driver issue, I use Xiaomi drivers and have no problems.

  • $200 bucks

no big payday from the Friends Reunion, so now you have to flog your assets?

You could put it on FB marketplace for $600 and see what the interest is and drop your price over time.

  • assume a 15-20% drop for every year of ownership

  • How's the battery? I have this model and the original battery turned crap after 3 years and It won't stay on if I unplugged its charger. I bought a new battery just for 60 bucks and it works like a new laptop.

I bought it for 890 bucks and I am still happy with it. There's no other laptops that have the same spec and portability at this price point.

However, I don't think it would be easy for you to sell it for above $500. Its brand itself is deterrent for lots of people. I guess its best plus point is that it can be used for light gaming. It even can play GTA V at the lowest setting.

    • Battery is great still. I didnt use it that much to be honest. Once or twice a week really….

Still a powerful machine you can lightly play games on.
