  • Yes I have used them for a boot camp purchase a while ago. All was fine, although I now receive their regular SPAM email, just haven't got around to unsubscribing I suppose.

  • HI
To be very frank they all are same, ripping off people ,it is a matter of time only that who gets caught when and who is the loser, which they will certainly not be until crackdown by the sleeping government machinery. So better keep away and don't be tempted

    • Blinded by bias?

      • Oh!because you also run this or similar scam? Can you justify how any one paying money may not get any value in return which you all do(an exception has come recently "dealfree" which does not follow this ripping off device blindly)in the name of expiry etc etc and buyers put to all stupid and untenable conditions? Also, what justification ,if any ,you provide when you claim the items to be worth so much when fact is that same item one can buy much cheaper elsewhere. It is a matter of time only that you all will be held accountable and find difficult to escape the punishment.

  • Are you saying that dealfox is not a groupie whose email you are using????

  • If not as yet, that is what are planning and that is what makes you defend them.Better don't go that path as sooner than later crackdown on them is just around the corner.

    • Im guessing you've been a victim of some groupbuy deal. Care to share what happened rather than spamming threads about how their scams?
Imo, it depends, harsh to say they're all scams. Last time I used one at a small cafe, it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had - comparing to no voucher.

  • First time posting here and sorry for the Necro.
Anyone ordered the bladeless fan from them back on the 4th of Jan and received it? they said 2 to 8 weeks. it is now week 9. and I emailed them last week only to get a canned response of confirm address which struck me as an odd question. and once I confirmed the address I got a Delay at supplier will be another 2 to 3 weeks email.
the main problem is that mid march I will be out of the country for 2 weeks leaving me with a rather large worry.
I emailed them saying I would not be available to accept delivery from the 15th and all I got was a give us the new address. well it is the same address but I will not be there. I have asked multiple times for any tracking info or even proof that it has been sent but that never gets answered.
this is week 9 of the 2 to 8 weeks delivery (i live in metro Sydney so no reason for delays)
If i do not get it this week I will have to contact my bank and try to get money back. I do not think i am being unreasonable. I am just frustrated at the lack of communication from these guys

Also ———— Summer is over!! FFS!!!

  • I would suggest avoiding paying them with PayPal.

I bought the 10 level shoe rack from DealBoard on 1st Feb - forgotten the URL but it is now on sale again at http://dealboard.com.au/shoe-rack - AVOID this shoe rack deal.
The Fine Print indicated "Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery" and I was aware. The shoe rack finally arrived this week. I fixed it up yesterday (noted it was pretty flimsy) and place 2 pairs of shoes on each level (not 3 pairs as the width does not fit men/sports shoes). After less than half an hour, the shoe rack broke and fell into a pile by itself with the shoes. I inspected and found several plastic protruding parts/joints joining the frames broken - the protruding parts still in the connecting pieces.

As the delivery was after 7 weeks = 49 days, it is more than 45 days to raise a dispute in PayPal. So there is no buyer protection via PayPal in this case. I have emailed and also submitted case for full refund via DealBoard Support and now waiting for their response. Very disappointing.
Will escalate to NSW Fair Trading if DealBoard does not refund - the shoe rack did not even hold up for half an hour!

  • Dont Buy anything from Dealboard.
    They are SCAMMERS.
They will take your money and not deliver.
I have been waiting 5 months.
They did reply at first saying there was a hold up but now they are not replying by email and not picking up their phone.
    SCAMMERS

  • looks dubious..i cant understand how these companies can operate

  • Well…. Here's my 50 cents worth.

Just google "Dealboard Complaints" and check out whirlpool and productreview

As companies go…. these guys are at the top of the SCAM list.

Heres how they work: You place your order from their website, they wait until they have a number of orders queued up, they contact the distributor from Alibaba, they order the goods, the goods are shipped by sea container and when they arrive and clear customs, they are delivered to the end consumer.

There are literally HUNDREDS of complaints about these guys ranging from double charged credit cards through to delivery times ranging between 12 weeks and NEVER.

I could post a lot more about them, but I don't want to run the risk of this post getting deleted by a forum moderator.

All I will say is this: The A.C.C.C. are investigating these guys; and so is A.S.I.C. The A.S.I.C. investigation stems from the fact that the original director of the company doesn't exist! It was a fake name.

That should tell you every thing you need to now right there.

    • Hi OST!

Just wondering what you wrote in your review on ProductReview.com.au ?

As all I could see was ->

  • I've used them a few times, and it takes ages for delivery. I purchased the Madrid bed from them back in early November and am waiting for it, but in fairness, they said it could take 12 weeks. I have never had an issue with them other than the time it takes for delivery.

      You have an issue now.

      They have been closed down.

The owner is under investigation by several agencies.

  • Deelboard.com.au WILL be back online later today with some shocking news.

Allegedly - "Paul Florat, the sole Director, WAS NOT EVEN AWARE HE WAS MADE A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY!"

It is to be alleged that "'Sam the Scam' used the ASIC online portal and Paul's personal details to set him up as the director."

It will be further alleged that "Paul has never had access to the bank accounts, has no idea what was going on, and his first clue that something was seriously wrong was when he received hundreds of calls on his mobile after" deelboard.com.au "posted his details."

  • Deelboard is still almost empty. All the good and useful advice, as well as some very interesting information about those 'behind' DealBoard, and about their past activities, has been removed.

Of course we all know that the DealBoard.com.au website and their FaceBook site have been removed. Strange really, as usually an administrator of a business placed into 'administration' would keep these sites open as a way of informing creditors of what is happening. It would appear that whoever was really behind/operating DealBoard before the administration is/was still accessing their office and controlling their assets after the administrator was appointed.

Interestingly http://www.dealboard.net.au still exists as a web site. Perhaps for use in a 'Phoenix' operation in the future? Also, I saw that a certain 'brother' has registered at least 22 new domain names between mid December 2012 and early January 2013.

Although deelboard.com.au is now devoid of information. gulbahce.info is still online with some rather bland, but completely factual and legal (no chance of defamation/libel) information about a certain two Sydney based brothers, obtained from publicly available government sites.

  • For those affected by DealBoard collapse…

    Also:-

PLEASE MAKE A PAYPAL REPORT/CLAIM EVEN IF YOUR PURCHASE IS OVER THE 45 DAY LIMIT. PAYPAL CAN EXTEND THE LIMIT TO 180 DAYS IF ENOUGH PEOPLE LODGE A REPORT/CLAIM OVER THE SAME BUSINESS.

"PayPal reserves the right to reopen any claim for investigation within 180 days if we receive multiple complaints about a single seller."

  • Strange. Now even the .info site has been suspended.

In seems that whoever this Samuel Serhat Gulbahce fellow is, he has the ability to 'cleanse' even copies of publicallly available court records from the Internet.

  • Fellow OzBargainers and/or those who have lost money due to Dealboard.

It seems that Sam still has access to monitor and remove posts from Dealboard's ProductReview thread. All posts that advise people to make a PayPal report are being removed.

    Please go to:-

    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/dealboard.html

    And post the following information:-

Contact PayPal. If enough people report the same business PayPal will extend the claim period from 45 days to 180 days.

A Dealboard rep from pre-administration keeps removing this information from the thread. The Administrator/Liquidator must be informed so they can take over this thread from this old rep. Please contact the administrators and tell them about this - they must take over the monitoring of this thread.

    Well…

All comments, from all reviews, that advised anything along the lines of - "Contact PayPal. If enough people report the same business PayPal will extend the claim period from 45 days to 180 days."

    Have been removed, again.

With the notation - "Comment removed for inappropriate content." !!!

Luckily someone has made a review with this PayPal info - so it remains.

  • This is just unbelievable!

    1) All the comments left in all the reviews, that mentioned PayPal, have been removed!

    2) ProductReview have not replied to messages sent via their contact form and via direct email.

    3) The administrators of Dealboard Pty. Ltd. are just not interested in taking over the administration of the Dealboard account at ProductReview.

Other than contacting ASIC to complain about Moore Stephens Sydney Pty Ltd I don't know what can be done.

  • I have been asked to post the following 'inside' information.

"Turns out, this situation is a lot worse that previously thought. Since last October, Sxxxxxx [someone] hadn't even ordered the products from the distributors; but was pushing his sales staff to sell sell sell. In October they made $450K in sales, December was $420K. [allegedly] The money went straight to Sxxxxxx [someone]."

"…… we need people who have not received their products to lodge a complaint online with the NSW fraud squad."

If you paid Dealboard for items and have not received them. Please click this link and fill out the form.
