I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I really enjoyed playing this game.
The Exp is pretty much the same, so if you hated the duke you aren't going to like this any better.
WELL worth the $2.50 if you ask me though.

Duke Nukem Forever: Hail to the Icons Parody Pack is also only $3.24.
Not a good buy unless you are really into your duke multiplayer.

Bought DNF off Amazon for $1USD (Steam-activated) earlier this month. I don't think it deserves a cent more tbh.

      D'oh. How'd I miss that??

      • It was $5.99USD on Amazon's Winter(?) sale. There were also numerous $5-off any '2011 Top-selling games' floating around (WP forums, Reddit, etc), in which DNF was on that list. Trust me, you didn't miss out on anything special.

    • $1!? Where the hell was I?

Sorry, but I'm going to have to one-up you. I used a $5 discount coupon when they had it for $5, and paid $0.

Negged for the OZ rip off, the game itself is alright IMO.

It's only $4.99 on US or £3.74 on UK, shame for whoever set up that unfair pricing.

rip off neg - any game with regional pricing is a rip off big time! how can they sell it for 5 bux in the us and more than double here, were paying in the same currancy!

    • agreed, it's a discrimination!

  • Thank you! I bought the DLC for $2.50… I've been playing DNF all week, almost finished it :) Great timing!

Don't neg the OP for a DNF being a crappy game, 75% off is a good deal and deserves a +..but then again, the flipside is would you + someone who posted a deal for 75% off a bag of dog shit, probably not I guess. Same thing here.

Yeah, regional pricing sucks, but it's not Steam/Valve's fault. The publisher dictates the price for each region/country. Punish the publisher by not buying its games. And not buying DNF seems almost a no-brainer, doesn't it?

On the other hand, we need to support Randy Pitchford / Gearbox who had no choice but to polish this t*rd and flush it off the deck as quick as they could to get started building a decent Duke Nukem game. Honestly, that's the main reason I bought the game and the DLC. (Bought them both on special — wasn't willing to go full retard to save the franchise.)

  • I don't see why people hated the duke so much? I actually had a blast with it.
But then again, I had the mindset that it wasn't going to be perfect, that it wasn't going to rival the graphics of recent titles and that it didn't spend the full 10 or 12 years in development.

For $2.50 the DLC is well worth the cash!

I for one can't wait for the next duke game to arrive.

**Note I feel for the xbox 360 players, the load times were unjust.

  • It was quite a decent game, definitely worth way more then $ 12.49. And the DLC is very good short story. For $ 2.50 you can't ask for anything more.
