2 for 1 on Big Range of Icebreaker Merino - Natureshop, Bivouac, Outsidesports. Free Shipping*

150

(original post was just for Natureshop.com).

Natureshop.com, Bivouac.co.nz and Outsidesports.co.nz all have a BOGOF running until 20 Feb.
*Free shipping varies across the 3 sites.

Natureshop.con are having 2 for 1 on a big range of current season of icebreaker gear, mens, womens & kids. They've also got 15% off listed on the site, but prices for single items are still high… as always with Icebreaker. When you do 2 for 1, prices are the cheapest I've seen (except for clearance deals, where sizes/styles are limited). Only catch is you have to pay upfront, then they credit back the difference within 24 hours. The 2 for 1 doesn't need to be the same item (they will credit back the cheaper of 2 if you buy different items).
They have free shipping to Australia, and free returns (except no returns on underwear).

I've bought stuff from them before and they're great to deal with. I returned something and they gave a credit on the spot, before I'd even posted the item.

I just checked www.outsidesports.co.nz appear to be the cheapest. Note they do free shipping for over $200NZD purchase. http://www.outsidesports.co.nz/Sale/Icebreaker.htm

I haven't had a chance to check bivouac's offering yet, but probably equal to Natureshop - though they give you the value off the price you pay - no waiting for credit back. For bivouac enter coupon code BOGOF at checkout.

  • Snowgum in Melbourne (and maybe elsewhere?) is also having a big Icebreaker sale: http://go.pressconnect.com.au/em/message/email/view.php?id=8…

I have so much Icebreaker stuff now, I only buy it when I am in Auckland, where they have a outlet store: http://www.zenbu.co.nz/entry/1150702-icebreaker-outlet-alban…

The 2 for 1 deal makes it pretty close to the NZ outlet prices.

    too expensive

I've already bought $600 worth of stuff (will get refunded half)!

Believe it or not, IB gear are worth it. You'll end up wearing them all the time and wanting to give away all your old clothes.

I agree. I wish I could throw away all my synthetic running gear that stinks after 1 wear. I bought a couple of hooded zip tops around Christmas - I have a drawer full of jumpers that I probably won't wear again as a result. I love the fact that icebreaker stuff doesn't pile (go all balley), and doesn't smell.

I got the shopping basket up to $800 before the wife stepped in!

sorry waterproof, perhaps you should research the subject matter before offering your comment on value for money

  • So tempted by the ladies hooded jacket but at $400+ must resist. Shame it's not standard half price, as buying the jacket I would only get a MUCH cheaper item for free in that situation.

    • Unless you buy the matching very expensive unhooked jacket aswell! :D

    • Aah my bad - forgot it's 2-for-1 =D

Bivouac.co.nz also has selected ice breaker items at buy one get one free without needing to pay in full up front and wait for a refund, and their prices are generally better:

    • I thought that might happen. I'll update the original post.

(and now I need to go trawl through there site and resist the urge to spend more!)

Worth noting that Bivouac don't offer free returns, which may be a factor if you're not 100% sure about sizes.

  • Outdoor Sportz NZ says it's having 2-for-1 as well from today but when I add 2 items in my cart it still shows full price. I don't see any mention of using coupons or cash back. Any ideas?

    • Contact their customer service. There's a contact link on the top right corner of their page.

  • Outsidesports.co.nz are cheapest. They've now worked out their pricing so it takes the price off for the cheapest items. With that in mind, if you're spending a big amount, it may be worth grouping into a couple of orders to make sure you get the best discount.

Ie. order a bunch of things worth about $50 on one order, and a bunch of things worth about $100 on another order. keep in mind $200NZD order value for free shipping.

    • Good idea.. wow such insane prices. 2 x 260 crews for $100

  • I found nature shop to be the easiest to find what i wanted so went with them. Requires a bit of trust that they will actually refund you though as the checkout total only displays full price.

  • Hmm… Bivouac is cheaper than Natureshop.

    • Pretty close on price. It's more of issue of which shop has what you want. Bivouc have a greater range of thermal tops but hardly any pants on offer. Even the most popular and basic top - Icebreaker Men's BODYFIT200 Oasis Crewe is $20 more than nature shop.

  • Has anyone got a refund from nature shop yet?

    • i've been charged the full amount on my paypal statement….no sign of cashback

      • I got refund, but was emailing them about something and mentioned I didn't get a refund. Worth asking…
