we stayed in Raleigh near Urunga. Really good for the dog and a nice place for the humans too. I'm not sure if it meets your other needs.

My neck of the woods. Actually very very close to me. There are a few pet friendly places around urunga
On most hotel/travel websites, it'll tell you if the hotel/resort is pet friendly or not.
You can search for 'pet-friendly' options on Booking.com (and probably on other sites)
