How to Skip Win10 - Add Your Microsoft Account

Hi All, every once a while i get the prompt above from boot up, but can't find any option to "Skip" or "Don't ask again".

I have been using hard restart (power button) to bypass it.

Anyone know how to skip it or permanently disable it from asking again ?

Thanks.

Don't connect to the internet during initial setup , then it will allow you to bypass this.

Unplug the ethernet cable or turn off the Wifi, it'll say "Something Went Wrong" once it loses internet connection. The skip button will then show.

Under Windows Settings, search for "Sign In Options" then under "Require Sign In" you will want to select this option (Never) to prevent Windows from asking you to sign in everytime you wake up from sleep

Have you been getting this prompt immediately after installing feature updates?
Disabling Wi-Fi/Enabling Airplane Mode may let you skip.

Yes, it seems to happen after windows updates installed on boot up.

Will give that a go next time.

      Thanks all.

I would run a quick virus and malware scan. It looks legit, but something about the phrasing seems off "We need to verify the password for your account."
Probably nothing, but worth it for the potential hassle. Weird that it is just popping up all of a sudden. Usually its just on install.
Are you using a microsoft account, or just a local account?
