Best 50-55 Inch TV around $600-$700?

Shopping for a new lounge room TV to fit on a 120cm wide entertainment unit. After a bunch of shopping and reviewing I'm stuck between these three models:

Hisence 55" S8
No QLEDs, no Android TV but a custom smart TV version, seems like good build quality and viewing angles from reviews
The stand being slightly recessed means I can fit a 55" from what I can tell

Hitachi 50" SM20
QLED, Android TV, seems solid
The stand being right at the edge means I can only fit a 50" though

TCL 50" P715
QUHD, which I'm 99% sure is just QLED, Android TV, seems solid, can't tell the difference between this and the Hitachi
The stand being right at the edge means I can only fit a 50" as well

Seems like everything has smart TV features, 4k, HDR, VESA, good backlighting, tiny borders and Bluetooth audio at this price, so I'm really struggling to figure out differentiation, and figured I'd ask OzExperts

Is 50" QLED better than 55" LED?
Which of these has the best viewing angle?
Any options I missed?
Which one of these would you buy?

    QUHD is inferior to QLED

check out https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/402824588286https://www.ebay.com… if you can squeeze a 55" in for $799

Otherwise, of you're OK with Sony official refurbs, this blows away any of the above:

    $705

    • So hard to figure out where the marketing ends and the technical specs begin, thanks!

Damn shame that the 55" doesn't have a slightly recessed stand, looks like the edge of the stand will be hanging over the edge by 4cm on each side

But wow I didn't realize a Sony refurb could be so cheap, I think that'll definitely be the go. What's warranty like? If it's a poor quality refurb, will they pay for replacement?

      • Have a look at their eBay feedback - units seem to be a bit hit and miss and support seems to be not great if things go wrong. I am on the fence about getting one too
