What Brand of Laksa Do You Buy to Make Laksa Sauce?

Recently I had Laksa noodle soup. I really enjoyed the taste.

I want to know what brand of Laksa do you buy to make instant Laksa sauce and where to buy them. I plan to put these powder or paste into soup.

      YES THIS.

Zero fuss and prep laksa. The best. Have it as is or dress it up with sides.

Haven’t seen a good deal in them lately always about $4 even at the asian grocer.

Alternatively, AYAM laksa soup paste, coconut cream make a good shortcut too.

I make laksa "soup" from curry powder and various other ingredients like lemongrass, chicken bones and coconut cream.

This tastes quite original. Just follow the instructions. More towards Malaysian style than Singapore. Lived in Malaysia and Singapore for 20 years.

My favorite is Por Kwan brand and jazz it up using this recipe https://www.recipetineats.com/laksa-soup/

    • Thanks, I will give this recipe a try one day.

Not sure which Laksa you'd tried. But if it's the Singapore style ones, this one is close:

Marion's Kitchen on Youtube has a quick and simple recipe for making laksa. She uses a Thai red curry paste and adds curry powder

  • Thanks everyone for their reply. I tried the laksa veg and noodle from restaurant, it is good as it is not too spicy. I remembered I tried laksa from a restaurant at uni, it was super spicy and stayed away since then. Now I became confident and I tasted the nissin cup noodle laksa. I was thinking if I could buy say 200g of these powder that make laksa soup. I will try some of the suggestions above.
