How many times do I need to read this to understand it?

its still open for submission so… more than 1 buck left

    but

once you have spent and want to claim, it will run out
    murphy's law

  • Victorians snap up $1 million in dining rebates, in first week

1 mil gone in the first week, now it's up to week 3. A countdown / progress meter would be helpful (but they just want you to spend regardless)..

at this point the chance of maybe getting 20% back isn't worth it for me, unless you plan on having a meal there anyway (>$50).

8.4 mil total (since it wasn't mentioned)

And where were those damn $50 myki cards? Nobody I know ever saw them, b4 lockdown

  • Actually, just found a page that shows 6 million still available

    • Yup realised its been updating! Im almost capped out šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

      • I haven't been back in to the city since this started, not likely to be having a meal above $50 any time soon in the city, will probably miss this & just be eating cheaply at home šŸ˜‚

        • You are looking at it all wrong unless you arent a foodie.
Should be cashing in on the top tier restaurants which are never discounted, VDM, Flower Drum etc.

          • @pixpotato: I think you've misunderstood the situation…

I don't go to the city for anything other than work. And right now, not even that.

I have a live-in chef at home that makes the best of everything!

The city is too much effort and largely, unless you go to the ones you mentioned, the service at restaurants in this country is terrible.

          • @pixpotato: In any case, this is OZbargain.

If you think spending $500 on a meal and getting $100 back is good deal, you're in the wrong place
