I'm doing some research into Youfoodz, and know some OzBargainers here have ordered so wishing if they would PM me some info.
I want to know the first 4 digits of the order number if they have ordered and the date of the order. The bigger the data set the more useful, so PM me if you could help thanks.
Just trying to get a rough idea of orders over time.
The last 3 or 4 digits dont mean much, as it represents the last hundred of so orders.
So if I have a date and first 4 numbers I can work out the gradient of order flow.

but why?
because YFZ is a listed company, a clever friend noted that between his two orders he can see the increase in number of orders between his fortnight.
I figured, I can gain insight into their orders per day if I gather enough data, if I have better insight into the order trends I have a better gauge of their business performance in real time.
From basic balance sheet analysis, you can see this is a business thats doing roughly 150m in revenue, has over 30 mill cash in bank and no debt. It has a market cap of 57m as I type.
That implies this business ex-cash is worth circa 25mill, now that's a low valuation, even for a low margin business. So why is the share price crashing so much? Must be because no one is ordering? Well, I can figure that out if I have some historical data.
But truth be told, it would have to be crashing in orders to justify such pessimism.
But thanks to DMBs orders i've worked out this:
from Jan 5th, they've gone from receiving 2000 orders per day to 4400 in June. There are mostly 14 day gaps in the data, so more order numbers with dates would help, but its probably good enough for my little experiment.
I should also add, I can sense seasonality in the business in the data, and its interesting to cross check the data with ozbargain posts to see the effect of promos too, and maybe even if the data might lead me to other conclusions of the business.

@djones145: Thanks to some of the posters below I got two dates one after another and saw a 20,000 order spike, and searched ozbargsin and saw a $59 code and bang, you can see what a good deal can do to volume.

It’ll be awesome if I can get more data, at the moment I have about 10 day gaps between orders, which isn’t bad, but I’d love to see more.

chances are most are just creating a customer base then sell sell sell

thank you so much Ozb, ive got a nice data set. I do have a 128 day gap between 5 May 2021 - 10 Sep 21, if anyone ordered between those days I'd be grateful.
I’d be doing a lot more with my DeLorean than ordering youfoodz.
