  • Looks like a good deal. Anyone have experience with this product? Im keen to know what happens when the batteries are fully charged? Does it move to a trickle charge state or turn off?

    • +1

The charging stand will automatically stop charging after 5 hours.

  • Where OP?

Not sure where he is sorry

Made me Lol you magnificent bastard 😁

    • I dont get it…where is what?

      • Normally people write the store in the title

        • +1

hmm, click on the link :)

  • 2x 1200mAh Rechargeable Batteries

    Not bad if true

    Big W one is $24 but 700mAh
    Official One is 1100mAh

    • I think the Big w one is for Xbox one only, not the new S X

      • Yes 1st is ONLY for older XB - has micro-USB connectors.

Specs on official MS link are tiny & attrocious quote :-

        Compatibility
Compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One controllers

I redeemed Telstra points for new Black USB controller (still for One S but will work for new Series too)…

Anyway only version of any charger/battery I could get from Big W was the Stealth SX-C10 X which is smallish black box with closeable lid, has fixed braided ≈1 metre USB cord, 2 sets of 2200 MaH NiMH batteries (actual batteries pointing each way inside a plastic sleeve) for $34 link is :-

        https://www.bigw.com.au/product/xbox-series-x-s-stealth-c10x…

I've tried to get an XB front charging dual charger from Big W before - they had the wrong picture on website for a lit up clear plastic PS version - check you are buying the right thing even instore before leaving - read the box, check the P/N number (might still be the wrong thing listed though).

This seems pretty good for two charging packs and a stand. I grabbed one.

  • Isn't getting rechargeable AA batteries better as you can always have charged batteries ready to go.

    • +2

Not really, you put these back on the dock when you are done gaming so it's always fully charged

      • Lol I have the old dock but guess what I never redock every time, leaving me with powerless controllers.

I think eneloop is the better way to go.

  • I got about brand and it came with 2x 500mah…paid 23 on Amazon.

  • Wanted to pull the trigger, but really no need when I can just swap out my Eneloops

    • I was in the market for a stand that looked like my DualSense stand to have a nice clean desk, so the stand was as important as the batteries for me.

  • This looks quite good, has anyone found them anywhere else for a price match? Local is out of stock and delivery is too damn high.

  • How do people think these compare to the engergizers they have?

The engergizers don’t have mAh listed or cover plates which is a huge bonus since Xbox and series x require different cover plates.

  • Have one and like it. Would recommend it.

  • Damn nothing like this for my ps controllers

Here's a link to a charger with 2 x 2550 mAH battery packs included, for $29.99, down to $25.99 with a $4.00 coupon appearing for me.

Might be more convenient for those with only 1 controller, as you could charge 1 pack while you use another in your controller. It's also able to charge regular rechargeable batteries.

Hey thanks, this might actually be better off for a single one like you said. I know I'm pretty lax and forget to put my PS5 controller on charge half the time between sessions. This might work better for absent minded folk like me to just have a spare battery on standby at all times instead.

Always useful to just have a charger for generic use too :)

Now I'm just debating whether to wait for Prime Day..

  • Picked one of these up today. Can't say I'm a fan of the quality so far. One battery is doa and Harvey Norman are sold out so now I need to package it up and take it back for a refund.

Got an energiser one for my old xbox one that is still going strong 3+ years later. Should have bought a new one of those.

  • The cut off may be after 5 hours but the green lights never turn off, not sure how it goes in terms of energy consumption but quite annoying too look at, need to manually go and move the connector to sit off to the side so the lights will turn off.

Unsure if the PDP one is also like this but I know it does have a cut-off to prevent overcharging.
