Purchased a refurbished Revue after seeing it on ozbargain. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/61267
The Revue arrived with a DOA power adapter. The LED light on the power adapter does not turn on, and the Revue does not get power. I have tested another power adapter with the Revue and it does power on, so it's definately the power adapter. Now I cannot use the power adapter I tried permanently with the Revue as it only supplies 2 amps of power and the Revue needs 3 amps. How do I get a replacement power supply?
Amazon appears to only give me the option of returning the entire unit, this seems like a waste of time and money since only the power supply is the problem. I sent Logitech a support email, but would they send me a power supply to Australia?
I took a gamble and tried purchasing a Netbook power supply (12v, 3a) off ebay. However the plug is only 1.7mm internal diameter radius and won't fit in the review. I am unable to return that power supply so thats $15 wasted. What power supply will work with the revue, or what options do I have to get a new one?
Use the 2A power supply till it burns out. THEN look for another one!
