Been eyeing off this soundbar as the price has been dropping with the 2021 models coming in. Really well rated on rtings.com
Haven't had experience with JB's factory scoop items before but worth a shot at this price.

I seriously doubt you can get a better system with Atmos and X at a cheaper price than this. If anything you’ll probably end up with something that already obsolete today, let alone in 10 years.
This is perfect if you have Samsung tv if it were not for refurb.
I don't have Samsung tv, guess I just loss the Q-Symphony? Any other functions I won't be able to use?
I have the Q70T soundbar to connect my Sony x9000h TV. Sound quality is pretty good through eARC. Dolby Atmos is good
you have to buy a sub (which doesn't come cheap) with bookshelf speakers, no?

549 is brand new, 309 is refurb. Been there for couple of days.
I found this 2 days ago, still not sure if I should take it. Now it's all gone, it frees me.

No, if you live in SA, you can let them price match appliances Online. Currently 446 brand new. Unfortunately they don't have stock in qld. So JB won't PM it. They offered me 500, but still too much.
Ohh, i had a chat with JB in sydney and he said cant do more than the advertised price.
try over the phone 135244 ，they are different system, might work.
Received mine a few days ago but unfortunately is defective. The right speaker does not produce any sound if the centre speaker is playing sound. Have contacted JB and waiting a response. Anyone else have similar issues?
Did you factory reset and update the firmware?

Yep I’ve done multiple factory resets and updated the firmware. I’ll reach out to Samsung as well but not sure they’ll do much as it was a JB HI-FI refurb.
it is annoying that the service port is micro usb, still waiting for the adapter brought from ebay.
@poxy001: I don't use that Samsung app. And I don't want to register a Samsung account. This is the only Samsung product at home.
Anyway the USB works.
Maybe they will just replace it with a new one.
back in stock at 309. i brought a new unit for 100 more yesterday. but i still think it's a good deal, although OP's unit is defected.
