Deliveroo - Failed Order Results in Loss of Company Allowance and/or Credit


Has anyone else had this experience?

I ordered something, and I apply company allowance or credit from promo code. I put in a payment card to pay for the remainder. For some reason, I cannot get sent the SMS associated to the payment card to verify the online order. So the whole order is 'failed' or 'cancelled' and then I look at my profile and the company allowance and credit has been all taken away, set to 0.

Deliveroo think they are a 'tech company' and have the right to parasite 30% from restaurants. Me just playing around, and I have stumbled across numerous bugs.
