    I wonder why the 710ml "Keeps hot 14 hours, cold 24 hours" and the 470ml "Keeps hot for up to 9 hours or cold for up to 14 hours".

      Does yours keep the food hot? Common complaint in the reviews is the food doesn't stay hot for long.

        It's rated for 9hrs hot so it will do that… I have a 24hr and you better believe it goes 24 hrs with boiling water. Tested it and was boiling hot still 23 hrs later.

        Needs to mostly liquid to keep it hot for long periods. if you just put in food with lots of air gaps between like pasta, rice etc with not much sauce, it gets cold faster.

    The full metallic exterior is more durable. My kids have battered theirs on daily use at school for 5 years and still going strong.
