Can anyone vouch for this flash drive? Looking for something with fast read speeds.

    • Have this drive. Speed isn't too bad for a flash drive and obviously portable. Runs very hot, as with most thumb drives these days.
Having said that, if size isn't a big factor, I'd go for a 500G SSD instead. Much faster write speed and more durable.

Price difference is probably a factor too.

Have this in 64gb and use it for transfer of data between phone and laptop, time to time without requiring an OTG. Very Convenient.

    • I have it and love it. It's rather small, so I'm always paranoid I'll lose it somewhere.

It's obviously slower than an SSD for read/writing, but I can't say I have noticed it being especially fast or slow. I guess that is an endorsement, as I'd absolutely be complaining about it if it were slow.

It's biggest use has been to upload photos from my phone to Google Photos - I'd transfer photos taken with my DSLR to the phone (photos uploaded from my phone used to be free, and I'm an OzBargainer).
