  I've had a pretty bad experience with mine. I struggle to get it to hold a steady temp. It fluctuates +-4/5 degrees. It always overshoots the heating and cools to much and cycles again. Every once in a while it will reach equilibrium and hold for a while but then starts fluctuating again. I've heard other peoples positive experiences so I will need to attempt again in an even larger water bath (I do use a lid to minimise heat loss).

  Moreover, I found the temp calibration to be way off compared to other measuring devices I got but that can be easily adjusted in the app. Just make sure you check before cooking something.

      The display (far more usable with its information) and the cleaning, mostly. And the price.

        What information do you not have with the anova? And cleaning after using it in water? I just rinse mine in boiling water, no problems…

      My memory may be failing but pretty sure it was applied on the item. Then it was expired and back to $125 and no coupons, but you are correct, when I check now there's a coupon available.
