How to Search for Lowest Price Items on AliExpress?

Hello
AliExpress has made it difficult to search for low priced items with multiple options available under the same product.
Like I am trying to find the cheapest Zigbee temperature sensor, so I sort it by price. But when I go into a found product that says its like $8, I need to select where its shipped from. And of course cheapest item will be from a country that does not ship to AU. And the option to ship from China is at least twice as much =(

Does anyone know of a hack method to somehow just filter the prices with shipping either from China or Australia to be delivered to AU?

  • I find that if you input the min/max price and selecting free shipping it will often show you the cheapest.

    • nah, same crap. Shows the price within limits, but when I open it the price is like that if I pick country like France or Italy that does not deliver to AU

The desktop site is usually better for the more advanced search options as you can easily select "Ships from China" in the dropdown. It's never going to be perfect unfortunately and you will encounter these issues. My ideas are more tricks to help sort it better than actually fixing the issue.

It's also important to note that if you've clicked out from a cashback company or through an affiliate link you'll find AliExpress will redirect you to best.aliexpress.com that filters out a lot more products. These are usually non-affiliated items that you can't get cashback on. Another way to know if there's an affiliate cooking is if URL says aliexpress.com/ah/ instead of aliexpress.com/wholesale/ when searching for a product.

Agreed - the sort/search facility on aliexpress is stuffed. Sellers can get their listing to the appear near the top when you sort by price by having a cheap item in the listing in a multi item listing or if its a price for a different country .

Similar issue happens for Ebay with the cheap item - eg if you're looking for charger and a listing which has a charger and a 99c cable as separate items in the same listing. When you sort by price, the 99c listing will appear near the top but then once you go into the item, the charger isnt necessarily the lowest price out of the list

So there isnt a way to only sort price by a particular item other than to manually go through them

    • Sometimes things are cheaper with ~$2-$3 shipping overall

      • That's true so you don't always have to select it.

I do it probably the hardest way, search for product then sort by price and shortlist some in watchlist, then sort by orders and shortlist some more. Finally go through watchlist and find the cheapest out of the bunch including any delivery.

I hope there is an app.

  • dont know how it helps Ali to have stupid search . Or sellers just found a loophole and using it.
I wonder if I come through VPN from the country they have listed as the cheapest, will it say - not available? or the cheapest will be Australia with noshipping to Italy? =)

I think you will find its the sellers have found a loophole. Just like on ebay where they list some associated accessory as the price, but the item you want is so much more.

In their warped mind, they think getting you to look under false pretentions will get you to buy, vs the reality most just click away.

  • https://alitools.io can be useful. I find it easier to track down high order listings with it, which are usually the 90% of the way to being the cheapest.

I agree though, ali has really gone down the gurgler.
