Cashrewards Amazon Rates Vs Associates Rates?

Bought a heap on prime day only to find all were declined from Cashrewards….

They state on their site https://www.cashrewards.com.au/amazon-australia that some of the categories aren't eligible, but when I look at Amazon's associated program it looks like they are:

Is this because different rules apply for a cashback system.

I always assumed Cashrewards was just splitting their affiliate commission with the buyer?

I believe cash back providers are different to the Amazon affiliate programs. You generally find all the cash back providers (Cash Rewards/ShopBack, etc) have similar eligibility for the categories/cash back amounts.

Any questions or if you want to investigate it further, contact their support.

    • But that's all cashback providers do they sign up to an affiliate program and split the difference.

  • On 1st day, shopback was eligible for cashback from 4-5pm I think on All categories … On 2nd day, Cashrewards was eligible on All categories from 4 to 6pm from my memory … Apart from that, there are very limited categories eligible for cashback on amazon …

Support teams of both are good and give cashback if its a genuine case.

    • Ah right I thought that was just increased commissions during those hours.
