Now I know that this is most likely not going to end well for me, but I have to understand what went wrong. I placed an order that came to $3,016.54 for some dell Vostro laptops, the order is being tracked but its telling me that my rebate will be $0

As stated on the Dell page, this is quite normal for Dell transactions and will be fixed up when it's approved:
"Transactions may initially track with $0 transaction amount and/or $0 rebate amount, or with a rebate amount less than expected, this will be corrected when the transaction is Approved, there is no need to raise a transaction query in this case."
