        The franchise owner doesn't pay for these out of pocket, and therefore doesnt make a loss by by only placing a few on the shelf. These free promotional items get sold out immediately due to the high demand, and limited quantity due to it being a limited edition flavour.

          I get that, doesn't change the fact that the above happens to me a fair bit . More often than not, I don't get the free item.

            @b2dz: Reply to my own comment, it could be that they can't be bothered with the process to reimburse or perhaps it takes too long, or some other reason that makes it not worth their while to go through with it. But it's definitely happened more times than it's worth.

          @dannyric03 wouldn't take a genius franchise owner to have a few dozen my 7/11 barcodes loaded up on stocard, so they can "buy" them all to sell later.

      Could also be that once it’s free, demand increases. Once it returns to $4 price, suddenly demand drops. Got mine already at 7am

    Around 20 at the Central Station Sydney store with no room on the shelf for more. Usual sooks will complain they're out of stock at 6pm 🙄

      I’d try a different store next time. Big stores on large highways have high turnover for similar floor space compared to an off main route 7-Eleven.

    7/11 in Wantirna, Vic on Boronia Road next to Wantirna Mall (as someone above mentioned) still has tons left.

    I went in to fuel up both my cars at 123.7 as well, don’t think the servo dude was very happy 😂. Anyways if anyone still wants and is passing through, you’ve got 1.5 hours to get it!
