Hello everyone
Do you have any recommendations for tie on face masks with respirators? Not the ear loop kind.
I'd prefer reusable ones.
If there is no choice I'd go for disposable ones.
I'm in innerwest Sydney and if they can be picked up, or at least if they can be delivered in a week, it would be great.

Respirators defeat the purpose of wearing a mask for covid.
Given we wear masks to protect others, and that respirators mean your breath exits - they are not useful in protecting others if you were to have covid.
If you are unable to wear a mask for whatever reason then just don’t wear a mask.

You can try alteration stores for reusable fabric face masks with ties as they tend to make their own and you may be able to order it if they only have the ear loop type in stock.
Otherwise eBay and Etsy also have them.

Have you thought about adapting an ear loop one by stitching on ties. A bit of bias binding would, probably, work. When I made my masks I ran the elastic across the back of my head rather than loop the ears. A bigger piece for the back of my head and a smaller piece closer to the neck.
Are you referring to a full face respirator type thing, like this? This is almost mil-spec but I think you'd scare the bejesus out of everyone if you wore one of those out in public!
