  • You can always buy the $12.50/tix off their tix sales counter.

    • How? Is there anything special I need to mention? The usual tix prices are always above $17 apart from Tuesday's.

you dont have to mention anything, just say that you want to buy the 10 voucher movie tix.

They sell at $12.50/each so $125. And you can only use it weekdays and friday before 5 pm.

        • Wow, that's great. Does the tickets have an expiry date? Is it usually 6 months? And is this a deal or is this always available? I mean, for how long can I buy the 10 tix pack?

        • Hi , I bought Ticket on 26 Dec 13, the 10 Vouchers adult pack = $130 at Hoyts High-points Vic, 6 moths exp.use for any session except Saturday from 5pm on ward.

Buy Hoyts Rewards welcome pack for $10- it gives you 1 ticket when you activate online.

    • Thanks for the suggestion, but I already have it and I need 6 tickets.

  • If you have an eVents near you and you have an Optus account (or just get a prepaid number) you can get tickets for 10 bucks. I always avoid Hoyts now a days.

Are you with Optus? If you or a friend are try http://www.yestickets.com.au/ for $10 tickets. I stopped using Optus for ages but somehow I can still logon. I think they're just generic tickets. I've bought for my friends and forwarded the eTickets to them and I didn't even have to go to the screening myself.

    • This is the best way to go around with movie tickets for hoyts. $10 per ticket emailed to you, no booking fee and works on all movies ($3 surcharge for 3D, $1 for the glasses). Telstra have a similar deal with village cinemas, $10 as well.

      • Looks like they've started charging a $3.50 upgrade just for Xtremescreen now :-(

I'm booking for the final Hobbit film at Northlands and checked : no mystery $3.50 fee on normal (small) screen sessions, just for the (normal) Xtremescreen screen.

        • Hmmm I booked end of November for the same movie @ Xtremescreen Hoyts Blacktown NSW for no extra fee, maybe different policy for different cinema?

    • Does this work for anyone with Optus, or do you need to have a plan?
ie, can I buy a $2 Optus sim, and use that as an account for the movies?

      • A $2 dollar sim will work or this is a little unethical but start typing random numbers till the system excepts it.
Some Optus numbers are in the range of:
        04x1z 04x2z 04x3z

        etc etc.
