My question is can I book a flight to achieve using the rest towards the hotel accommodation?
I will need to book a flight, which will be a cheap one to make the most of a hotel booking. The terms state:
"Some vouchers can be redeemed for flights and Jetstar Holiday products. If this is the case the Voucher can be redeemed towards payment of flights including Fares and bundle options, taxes, fees or towards payment of Jetstar Holiday products (such as accommodation, flight and hotels packages, activities, transfers, parking or insurance) that are booked in connection with a Jetstar flight in the same itinerary. The Voucher cannot be redeemed solely towards payment of Jetstar Holiday products when a flight is not included in the same transaction."
I am unsure if I don't board the flight the hotel will also be cancelled. I will be calling tomorrow to clarify, has anyone else done this?
If it helps, Jetstar doesn't cancel the return flight if you don't show up for outbound flight.
I'd put my money on the hotel booking being ok.
