  • I'm curious, why is there such a glut of Ryzen-compatible MBs at the moment? Is there some big announcement coming about a change of socket that is going to make all of these redundant or something?

    • too much stock

yes AM5 next year is pretty much going to happen at this point. but the simple answer you looking for is there are just more ppl looking for an AMD build at the moment, thus AMD components come up more frequently.

To add to the fact that Intel is so last year ;)

      Probably the incoming X570S refresh

      • Correct.

Only thing it looses to the X570S revision is 2.5g ethernet and the fan.
Admittedly, the X570s Master (or maybe the PRO AX) is the closest to this, which commands a more of a premium.
        VRMs are still good.

But yeah, AM4 by all accounts is dead, so this board wont take the 'new' chip.
Might be a small 5000 series refresh at the end of this year adding more cache, nothing concrete yet.

  • Wish these had the same LED RGB lighting as on the AORUS x370 & x470 Gaming 7 motherboards

If anyone is after a cheap X570 ITX board there is three ASRock x570 ITX Phantom Gaming available from gg.Tech365 for $175.50. I bought one but didn't post a deal because there was only three left.
