Thanks for the reminder to pause for another month :)

I'm genuinely curious here - what are you hoping to get out of Humble Choice?

This month is pretty much representative of what it is. 1 to 3 higher profile but older releases, then filled out by well reviewed indy games, and perhaps a Humble exclusive.

I paused this month as well - Personally for me the headliners this month are sequels of games I still haven't finished.
Although a couple of smaller games interest me, I can still trade for them.

I think too many people think the extraordinary month with Spyro, Crash, and CoD is the normal bundle or should be the normal bundle.
All too spoiled now. If all bundles stopped for a year (and people would have to buy their games separately, say in this case about then people would start appreciating them again.
I mean, the lowest price for Yakuza 3 Remastered is $15.16 on Gamebillet. That alone is just slightly less what the bundle with 11 other games costs.

Historical low for Dirt 5 is $12.57, for the Surge 2 it is $14.30 so I am really lost as to why people keep still complaining about getting these games plus 9 others for $15.92.

        • That was an extraordinary month haha

I think it depends on the amount of time you have to play/extent of your backlog as well. I pause a bit here and then on months like this month, where I still have other games in the same series/genre to play first. (Unless I get an insanely good deal, like the $6 USD a month one, which pays off even just playing a short single game).

If I was going for just numbers on my Steam account I'd keep it rolling every month.

The games can be the lowest price ever, but is it really a bargain if you don't ever play it…?

@Jaded: Good attitude. I pm'ed you to re games.

      • it's a pretty good month imo. i paused because there's some games i won't play on it. if i hadn't already finished surge 2 when it came out i more than likely would have jumped on it

        • How do you like Surge 2?

          • @Lysander: big upgrade over the first game in every aspect however i felt the game became pretty easy once you started messing around with the set bonuses. still excited for #3 if they decide to do it.

            • @Kozhutki: Well, that will be perfect for me then. I never bother with set bonuses as I am too lazy so the difficulty should be right for me. ;-)

I pause for months where I don't want the games that way I get better value when I do decide to have that months games. I just do 12 month subs and then cancel until a month comes around that i want
        * I may already have the ones i want from that month
        * I may not like any of the games
        * I may like the games but could never imagine ever getting around to playing them due to backlog of games

Had I never played Dirt 5 before I would have jumped on this bundle for that, unfortunately (fortunately?) I played that on MS Gamepass and got bored of the game pretty damn quickly.

  • Signed up for a year on black friday for about $11AU a month so have been grabbing most months and gonna grab this one also.

If you're intending to get this for Yakuza 3, note that the Remastered Collection on Steam doesn't offer further discount for owning 1/3 of the games like other bundle deals do.

Of course the rest of the series will eventually show up here anyway since this is the 4th time one has, so not much of a bother
