33W Abetcabe QC Wall Chargers with 1 QC and 3 3.1a Regular | Weird Phone Behaviour

I got these dudes https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/617091

When using them with 2 different phones;

PhoneA - the keyboard bugs out - random buttons presses everywhere. Rebooting and switching to a different charge resolves.
PhoneB - navigation feels off. does not occur on a different charger.

Has anyone else who bought noticed anything odd?

PhoneA is pretty old. Is it phone issue or charger issue?

    Ghost touches when charging is usually an indication that the charger is bad. Normally caused by electrical discharge in the form of current or static charge.

    Since you've tried another charger and presumably another cable, this proves that it is the charger itself. I'd be requesting a refund from Amazon.

      Agreed - cheap switching-mode power supplies often are poorly designed and engineered, and lack sufficient filtering. What this means is that the power they supply to a phone is very noisy, or unstable. This electrical noise can be in the same frequency range as the highly sensitive electronics that run the capacitive touch screen, causing the issues you're seeing.

      +1 for requesting refund for defective.

    • I've had 2 previous phones suffer from keyboard issues… definitely an eye opener to spending more on quality chargers.

  • Another poor review appeared for the product. Returning :D
