Good to see, so Mr Jack incurs a 14% penalty for participating in these promotions and eBay take a 1-3% hit…..

Was always known, and hinted at. Common-sense dictated it, really, hence why sellers have to jack up prices

    • People told me I was wrong when I said the 20% sales were 15% by seller…

      Hence my (mathematically incorrect) avatar.

Thank you eBay for confirming that my decision to stop selling on your platform was the correct one.

eBay screws sellers, more news at 9. I wish I had the skills to make an eBay competitor, just make it exactly like eBay was 5+ years ago.

Tbh it seems that ebay prices are higher then on the seller's websites these days, so it's slowly becoming more like an advertising platform.
The only good deals I spotted lately lately were the ones with afterpay etc…
Very few sellers had decent prices during the EOFY sales.

I received this today as well. I'm definitely not going to participate, and am also now more understanding of the price jacking that occurs.

    • "I'm definitely not going to participate"
