  How does Plex work? is it via laptop?

    Plex is a media server that you run on one of your computers, and it'll let you watch your content on any of your other devices. It'll even transcode content so if your Android TV won't play, say h.265, Plex can transcode it.

    The other thing it'll do is let you share out your media library to people outside of your local network.

    Also there's some crappy streaming channels no-one cares about.

    Bear in mind that Plex has been selling lifetime passes for a while, and seem to be running out of money; so they seem to have given up on what their customers want and are trying to do media deals no-one asked for. There's no hardware encoding - so you can support more users streaming through your internet connection - and AMD hardware transcoding isn't supported on anything other than Windows.

  Not working for me, just takes me to choose from 1 month, year, or lifetime. At checkout says it total $6.95
