What kind of thread on a Weber Q1000?

I recently bought a Weber baby Q. I need to change the hose to a low pressure bayonet hose. I already had one of these, but neither the 1/4" BSP or 3.8" SAE thread fits. Weber do make their own bayonet hose, but I am hoping there is an adapter that fits the hose I have. Does anyone know what kind of thread is on the Weber?

    You wsnt a 3/8 - POL adapter, bunnings might have them, I know BCF do.

      I assume you are correct about the adapter, hope that helps the op. 👍🏻

      However as a bargain site there is a cheaper alternative. Bunnings has the same for around $7

      I just searched

      Companion POL to 3/8 LH Adaptor

      And a number of stores also sold it cheaper than BCF’s $14
