    If I have a PS3, will I still find this Smart TV Box useful or is a PS3 sufficient?

      I find converting mkv files to mp4 files for the ps3 painful.
      If you have a jailbroken PS3 then you can check out showtime which works I heard.

    hmm tried to play a 720 HD content on my tab which has a 1 GHz 8803 CORTEX A8 - and it doesnt seem to play - guess its an older gen chip though, and these probably have hardware acceleration on another chip which does the decoding right?

    nice price for whats essentially a PC.

    are these things licensed for the android market?

    its just a shame they dont have a TV tuner built in, would make the ultimate set top box… havent seen an android with a tuner though so far…

      wifi isn't especially useful for media players (too prone to stutters due to interference, lack of bandwidth when playing video)
      Wired network is much better in this application…

      its annoys me to death that none of the media players have wifi. may not be great for streaming, but for background copies it would be infinitely useful.

    Be careful with astone, I have a Astone Media Gear MP-310DT 1080p which has just stopped booting less than 6 months after purchase. It also will not work with the wireless- it was complicated to set up (next to no instructions come with the box) and would take 4 days to transfer a 2gb file. It also likes to freeze and forget to tape shows. Hopefully this one is an improvement but many people seem to find them painful to use.

    Doesn't look like it's full 1080p though (supports DVD quality playback) and not much info on playable file formats either.

    Id be willing to give the H200 a go if it came with a wifi dongle and free shipping for $99.

    Cant find much info about this on the net.
